Digital Vibrance Grayed out? NOOOOO!!

So this is weird. Put in my new 8800GT to rig and SLI system now. Reinstalled the drivers,

Windows Vista 64-bit 175.19's

So going into the Nvidia control panel to set up and my DV is grayed out, can't move. What the heck is going on here?

Something weirder, I can move the brightness, which I have to 27%. However when I go to play Crysis, after I am done and exit to Windows, the brightness is way up.

Even crazier, it's still set to 27%, only went I touch the bar does the brightness go back down.

I've seem some nutty things in my life..but this is up there....way up there....
 
Have you tried any of the latest beta drivers? 177 series would be a good way to start off.
 
Haven't tried that yet, but I guess at this time anything could work. Guess it's not a show stopper, but it's strange that this is happening.
 
Hopefully Big Bang 2 will add features that that have gone by the way side for Vista.
 
I've had the exact same thing happen with Quake 3, on a very old Geforce 4 420go laptop. Installed Omega drivers, problem was fixed.

Try updating yours.
