I currently have an SB X-FI Titanium (PCI-E) paird with Logitech X-540 speakers. I want to upgrade this analog setup to a digital solution. I was researching both HTIB and PC Speaker solutions. I am looking to no more then $300 and I am only able to purchase from Newegg. I have researched my options and found the following on Newegg.

HTIB:
Pioneer HTP-2920 ($200)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882117255&Tpk=Pioneer HTP-2920
This solution is very well priced and will allow me to connect the optical out from the X-Fi Titanium to the input in the back of the reciever, creating a pure digital 5.1 link.

PC Speaker:
Logitech Z-5500 ($300)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121120&Tpk=z5500
This solution is $100 more and will allow me to connect the optical out from the X-Fi Titanium to the controller as well, also creating a pure digital 5.1 link. I was told that since it has a powered subwoofer, it will have deeper bass.

Which solution would you guys recommend?
