digital photography books

Same here. I spent an hour in waterstones the other day and all of the ones I read were very basic.
 
I've been thumbing through a copy of Dave Montiuzambert's "Professional Digital Photography". Not bad. It has a lot of useful photoshop tricks in it. The section on using masks to replicate the effect of "light painting" is especially good. Worth picking up from the library, but not really deep enough that I would want to buy it.
