Hi... I'm having a few problems with the optical output of the Abit IC7's AC '97 onboard audio...
After having tested extensively, I'm pretty darn sure that my Denon AVR 1804 is only getting the signal for the front speakers through the optical cable connecting the two.
The analog outputs play the rear, center and sub perfectly, but the Denon doesn't seem to receive those...
As a complete digital audio n00b, is it possible that the AC '97 onboard audio is only sending the front speakers?
I've fiddled to no end, with the settings of the drivers (which are actually reasonably useful in the later versions).
I've googled this to no avail - all I get is board specifications...
Thanks in advance,
JaPeX
