my parents are fed up with U-verse and since the dallas stars didnt make the playoffs they have decided there is no reason to have a TV service again until next season. they would like to replace it with some sort of digital media player, they have netflix and would like to get hulu plus. the only thing i have been able to find is Roku, which looks pretty nice at 79.99 for the 1080p model, but i want to make sure there isnt a better option out there. the more the device can do the better, ease of use is not super important as my mom can barely understand how the tv works now so im sure that wont change.

You may want to look into the Western Digital Live
Although they're not real popular I got a Seagate Freeagent Theater for my dad and he loves it.
I know they both do Netflix but I don't know about Hulu Plus
