Digital Encoding? DTS DDL?

Is there any sound cards out there that will encode real time in DDL or DTS? I'm using a surround sound receiver and I want it to receive a digitally encoded signal instead of PCM. I need an optical output on the card. I'm kind of on a budget so I was wondering if there was a card that would do real time digital encoding for cheap? Thanks
 
I don't know about cheap, but yes, soundcards are available that do that sort of thing. The Creative X-Fi series do it, with an addon pack, but I wouldn't call them cheap. See if anyone else has a different suggestion that's less if not, I'll help you find the cheapest X-Fi.
