Hey I'm new to macs.

I have a few questions regarding my digital camera (canon SD600) and my macbook.

1. how can i transfer my pictures from my camera onto my computer? I'm used to windows seeing my camera as an external drive and i can just move the files there...

2. how do i delete pictures from my camera using the macbook?

thank you all :)

ah, nevermind... i was being confused by iphoto.... seems like all ineeded was the image capture utility.

thanks all!

iPhoto works well, so does Image Capture.

Personally I use Adobe Lightroom.
It's competitor is Apple Aperture. I found that Aperture was nice when I had all my screens, but I choose Lightroom because I'm on the go more often on my 15".
