Has anyone tried any generics, or is it best to pay the premium and get the real ones? I have a Sony DCR-HC26 camcorder, and I'm looking to buy one of the two higher capacity batteries. What are your experiences with the generics?
 
Generics have worked fine for me, but some people will warn against using them though.

EDIT: Also dropping this to the Hobbies Photo & Video section.
 
Batteries+ is your friend. They make their own batteries and, perform about as, well as, the original. In my D50 the Nuon they make only gets a few less pics on it but, that is only after the first charge so, it may do better on the second charge.
