Difficult install with Aeroflow

I had a struggle installing a Aeroflow 7040 in a IC-7 board..had to remove a small heat sink from a nearby small chip and then I had to really bare down to get the HSF to lock..the damn board was flexing it was so hard,now I'm wondering if this is typical install with this cooler/mobo combo..I couldn't check my cpu because of waiting on a PSU but needless to say..I'm somewhat concerned having to put that much pressure on the 2.8c. :(
 
I thought I'd get a responce here..was sure there were a few IC7/Aeroflow people around who would offer hope. :( oh well
