Different VisionTek 4850 card art?

Why did VisionTek need to release 3 different card stickers? Are the cards different in anyway (possible prototype)?

Which do you have? I have the first one, which I got from Best Buy.
 
i like the one wihtout the sticker!
less weight = more performance.. :D:D;)
 
I like Visiontek hardware. Well actually I like a solid warranty. I do know VT doesn't miss a chance to get their face (sticker) on a product. This came up on another board.

Here is what I think happened. 4xxx series about to hit and VT either has issues with their builds or doesn't have enough. Not wanting to not have 4xxx series cards available they grab any they can get and sell in their retail packaging. Most 4xxx are going to be bought in the first week. If your not in that wave your SOL for the long term or wait until prices drop to get the frugal market dollars.

Thats why the VT seem to have so many sticker changes.
 
I just thought one of them may have been a prototype, or an earlier "revision".

As long as the card is exactly the same (no special revisions), I am ok.
 
The 2 I got had no stickers. That's probably the best, all things considered, but it drives me crazy that the pictures for video cards you see in reviews don't match reality. This isn't the first time it's bugged me. I remember some card I got 2 or 3 cards ago, and the heat sink looked nothing like the one in the review pictures I'd seen, cheesed me off.
 
I got the one without any sticker. Not like you spend much time looking at the underside of the card much :)
