Different EVGA 260 cards?

So currently Newegg has:
EVGA 896-P3-1255-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216
EVGA 896-P3-1265-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216

Couple questions about these cards.
1. How is EVGA as a company? I've used ATi almost all my life and I'm switching primarily for CUDA, but I don't know much about EVGA as a manufacturer.

2. What's the difference here? Is the 1265 card 65nm and the 1255 card 55nm? I can't seem to find what nm process they use, though I think the 1255 uses 55nm according to the EVGA website.

3. I'm leaning toward the 55 nm version of this card, preferably using a Arctic Cooling Xtreme cooler whenever they get around to releasing them, and then overclocking it to SC/SSC levels if necessary. Does this sound feasible?

4. I also noticed the 1255 has CoD with it, whereas the other doesn't, which I thought might cause the price difference... except it would mean they're paying you $5 to play CoD...

Can someone help me out here?

The 1265 is the 65nm version.

I'd get the 1255 version with the free game.

Also, eVGA is a very good company. I've dealt with them since 06 and have had no issues with their customer service. they all speak very good English too.

When I buy a card for myself or a client, I'll choose eVGA first.

The 55nm version has a weaker cooler and, to my knowledge, isn't supported by the Voltage Tuner.
If you're going to put an Xtreme on there anyway, the 65nm model should have much more overclocking head room.

If you're just going to "SC/SSC" clocks, then it probably doesn't matter anyway, the 55nm version would be better in that case... Less power, heat, and all that.

Frankly with an EVGA warranty and a top-end cooler on there, I'd install the Voltage Tuner and drag the slider all the way to the highest value and see what kind of clocks you can squeeze out of it. I don't know if you get the overclocking itch, but I'd say go with the 65nm just in case.

hmmmm.... I had heard about the 55 nm having crippled voltage tuning, but I didn't really think too much about it... perhaps I'll have to go with the 60 nm so I can actually do some decent overclocking if I feel the need... for speed...

Also, has anyone heard of the release date for the Accelero Xtreme 280? I've been looking everywhere, seen a few people that have them on forums, but no actual places to buy one. I think someone said GPPG, or some odd acronym that I'd never heard of, was where he'd bought his but I wasn't able to figure out what place this was.
