I got Samsung T260, which now is barely accessible in Poland. If I'd build Eyefinity setup, can I just buy 2 other 26" displays, or do I have to stick with same brand/same model?

Right now for EYEFINITY it just requires all monitors have the exact same resolution, so different sizes are fine, you can have one big 27" LCD of 1920x1200res, and two side monitors at 24", but same res of 1920x1200 giving a grand total of 5760x1200res.

As mentioned, three different monitor models are fine for Eyefinity as long as the same resolution. If you can get a 26" with the same panel (not sure what panel that Samsung uses...), it's much better since you'll be able to get the color calibration, contrast, brightness etc. set closer.

I lived with my middle display being different for about a month....(2 Dell 2209WAs, third was delayed, so I used my old LG FLatron 20" for the center, all displays at 1280).

It's very usable, but once you get all 3 matching displays, color/calibration/etc.. you want to go back! ( I haven't been this impressed with a new technology/experience since 3dfx! :D )

Seriously. 3DFX was such a huge leap (accelerated Tomb Raider was AWESOME!!!). I haven't felt that kind of pure kid-like giddiness in a long time. Eyefinity is the first since those 3DFX days.
