Hello,
First off my rig specs are in the sig for easy reference on every reply. Nothing is overclocked... system temps are nice and cool at 41c idle, 51c load (cpu, case)
Recently I started getting random programs crashing on my system followed by a couple different BSOD. Everything from steam, trillian, to explorer will error and crash, weird behavior follows and then a BSOD.
The different BSOD:
page fault in non paged area
memory_management
irq not less or equal
ntfs.sys
This started with vista x64, since I have been putting off 7 RC (msdnaa) I decided to throw that on there. Got a ntfs.sys blue-screen during install, tried again and installed fine. Put my music back on the RAID, copied over steam, wow, etc. then got the page fault BSOD. Blew away the RAID again, created new array, re-installed 7 with no errors. Copied everything over and got memory_management while in-game WoW.
What I have done before asking here:
ran memtest64 overnight, no errors
chkdsk /r - BSOD first try, no errors second try, no errors third try
removed RAM set by set (6x2), tried 3x2 , 2x2 etc etc...
removed one vid card, tried both
upped DRAM voltage to 1.64 from 1.50
What I think it might be:
The only thing in my system that is not brand new is the two hard drives (Seagate 7200.10 320GB from 2007). They should be well within their lifespan, however they did make the trip with me to CA from CO.
Any testing that I am missing before I bite the bullet and buy some new HD's ? Any tip at all would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
