Can anyone tell me the difference between BLT2C8G3D1608ET3LX0 and BLT2K8G3D1608ET3LX0? Both are Ballistix 16GB kits.

I was about to order the K's from Tiger Direct when I realized that the item referenced by the review that sold me was for the C's.

I'm assuming they're simply regional part numbers and therefore equivalent parts, but I'm too much of a perfectionist to pull the trigger on an assumption.

Apologize for the necro-bump, but I recently had this exact same question.

According to Crucial, C = Case and K = Kit, and are considered the same in all aspects. Crucial only sells K, and resellers usually sell C (though I've seen K at Amazon, if listed correctly). Also according to Crucial, pairs sold as C or K should be equal for dual-channel use.

I still have a feeling that there has to be some other difference.. maybe Kit is pairs picked from the same lot by Crucial, where Case is just bulk picked at random from the reseller?
