Are there any differences between a BFG 6800GT OC and any other GT offering from other companies with regards to build quality? Or are these cards built to the same standard no matter who they are supplied by?
 
All the initial runs of Nvidia cards were subcontracted out to a vendor (probably eVGA), which is why they all look the same. So there is no real differance between them.

Having said that, the vendors can specify different bios settings used to setup there cards, like BFG has theres theres stock overclocked, and of course the name in the bios will say who the vendor is.

There are a few options starting to show up tho, Gainward has started shipping there own boards, Leadtek uses the referance design but is putting there own cooling solution on it, probably start to see a few more different optoins show up in the next couple of weeks too.
 
Basically there's no difference, they all have to be built to a certain minimum standard imo...
