Differences between U2212HM, U2312HM & U2412M?

Hey guys I need to get a couple monitors for work and am eyeing these 3.. Unfortunately, 2x U2412M's might break our budget (at $400/ea)..

So I was looking at the smaller (lower resolution) screens.. The U2212HM and U2312HM.. Are there any major differences in these screens other than them being 1920x1080 vs. 1920x1200 for the U2412?

Panels the same? Same picture quality and such?

How would they have the same panel if they are different resolutions and sizes?

That being said, they will likely be similar. The U2311H and U2211H reviews were fairly close, with some differences in backlight bleed, panel uniformity, input response time, and brightness/contrast. That being said, the above details varied widely per-panel between U2311Hs as well so take that with a grain of salt.

I'm just disappointed with the new rounded/gray aesthetics they went with, the monitors are much uglier now to me. Even more so when laying them out in Eyefinity, those gaps are awful. Wish they would have stuck with the older model's case style and just applied the LED backlight to it.

You should be able to get the U2412M for ~$319 each if you speak to the right person. Have a read through the thread for it.
