ok so i hear the g.skill 4400 LE is the best to get.. but obviously they have different versions. all of which are cheaper than the other.

but which is best ? and why are the others cheaper ??

if im about to blow 280 bucks on the LE ram i want to know im getting the best ram for 280bucks.

I don't know why so many people ask this. It's right on G.Skills site.

Anyways, GBLA is supposedly their best. DDR600 @ 2.5-4-4-8

GBLD I think is the lowest, with GBLC above it. GBLE is right between GBLA and GBLC.

The difference between GBLD and GBLC is that GBLC can do DDR400 at 2-2-2-5 whereas GBLD does 2-3-2-6 or something like that. GBLE is the best rated for PC4400, but i bet the stuff rated for PC4800 (GBLA) can do PC4400 at the same timings as GBLE.

i ask cuz im about to purchase the LE but hell for the money i guess i might as well spend the extra 20 bucks and get the LA PC3200

even though reportedly the LE does well over 300mhz anyways... they dont guarentee it,, the LA is guarenteed to run 300mhz oh and the LB also...

get ZX! :D

though yeah, i'd go for the LA
it can get further with tighter timings. there's more of a chance that you can run 3-4-3 or 2.5-4-3 at 300mhz ;)
(assuming your memory controller lets you)

well its the new DFI 875P-T with a 540 ES so,,, knock that multi down a few and burn in th eram then crank it and burn it some more. if it dont do it then im done i give up im selling everything and getting a laptop.... :p

and the ZX i assume thats some sort of trickery to get me to buy the cheap g.skill ?

TCCD doesnt burn in really. It's ready to go out of the box. It can't take the voltage needed to burn in I don't think, anyway.

agreed. though there are.. two weeks that like a bit more voltage.. typically around 3 to 3.2v. i think 430 and 437. not very sure though.

and i was just kidding around with the ZX.. though it'll still get you to 250-260mhz

Has anyone seen the G.skill DDR600 FF anywhere for sale ?

its the only stuff they guarentee to be 300mhz 1T the LA is only guarenteed 300mhz 2T

i have yet to see if anyone has the LA running 1T though...

i dont know im just seeing such impressive things with the g.skill products, but knowing full well that each and every system is going to react different.

aaarrggg LE... LA.... FF.....

well i lost out on the LE at newegg i think im going for broke and getting the LA that way i WILL be broke.
G.Skill F1-3200DSU2-1GBLA @ NewEgg 299.99 OUCH!!
