Differences between 6800 U and GT?

What are the differences between the two cards besides the clock speeds and the price? I am building a new computer soon and I was planning on getting the X800XT but after looking into nVidia's side, the GT looked mighty tasty. Why? Everyone is saying it can overclock to 6800U speeds and its $100 cheaper. So what are the differences between the two cards?

Gt usually use a bit slower ram, but they should still be able to clock to the ultra specs with no problem at all.

looks like a lot of the Ultras are coming with 2.0ns memory, just like the GTs. so basically the only advantage it has is better cooling, more volts to the core and dual DVI. you can flash a GT to the Ultra BIOS for more voltage if you really need it.
 
also, whats the deal with PCIe. I read something somewhere (real helpful, i know) about the 6800 series having PCIe and AGP on the same card, but that didnt seem right. Can some one clarify please? Thanks.
 
the pcie 6800 is just an agp 6800 with a 'bridge' chip so that the 'agp 6800' core will work with pcie. ati says the chip causes latency but nobody has found any perfromance hit with this yet.

i think its pretty smart of nvidia. they dont have to make a pcie native 6800(nv45) core, so they can just ramp up and churn out 6800s without worrying about redesigns for different connects. they are probably saving a lot of money with just sticking to one core that can crossover connections. ati on the other hand made a pcie native x800 core(the r423) which seems to scale high when overclocking with pcie boards(so far i havnt seen nv45s go as high as r423s).
