Difference in two XFX 4870's on newegg

Newegg typo perhaps?

Not finding any HD-487A-ZHFC models (1st newegg link) on XFX's website.

Found the mysterious card on other sites though such as ZipZoomfly.

Just like ZZF... other sites seems to be OOS on this very model. I guess it could be an older model?

But yea you might as well go for the HD-487A-ZDFC since it does have free shipping and a slightly longer hsf housing.

The difference is that the model XFX HD-487A-ZHFC has an HDMI plug built in and does not support OpenGL like the other card does and well as the ZHFC model having a 400MHz RAMDAC (digital to analog converter if you didn't know what it was).
 
They're basically the same card. The only difference I can tell is the ZHFC has a black PCB and non-reference (but pretty damn close in design anyways) cooler. Both include an HDMI adapter according to newegg's package picture. There may be some board layout differences, but they shouldn't make any difference. It does appear the newer ZHFC may not include HAWX, so if that matters go with the ZDFC, otherwise get whichever one is cheaper with free shipping.

Which one is the better card?
 
the ZHFC is better if you don't care about OpenGL which most things these days don't even use, and if you want HDMI to plug into a TV instead of using a DVI-To-HDMI cable. If these don't matter to you then either card would work for you. Although I would suggest using the ZHFC card just in case one day you decide to use the card for a HTPC or if you just want to use a television as a monitor then HDMI is better than just DVI. I hope this helps. And as Yoda stated they both use an adapter according to the pictures but the specs sheet states that the ZHFC card has a DVI on the board, you should figure that out before making a purchase. You can ask newegg support before you order and they should be able to sort it out for you.
 
the hell both cards support open gl they are the same fing chip ffs my god people should not browse the interwebs stoned:p
 
So really, since OpenGL is supported by both card....what the hell is the difference? The one with free shipping is OOS.

Not just Newegg's site that is like that. Did a side by side comparison using XFX's comparison chart, there is no difference it seems other than one card is lacking the full description of features compared to the other. I say just get the one with the free shipping.

Get the one with free shipping, the difference between them is minimal.
