difference between Truepower and Smartpower from antec

TruePowers have tigher and independent voltage regulation, but in real life this probably isn't much of an advantage. In older Antecs the TruePowers had high voltage transistors rated for more amps than those in SmartPowers with comparable power ratings, but those transistors have been beefed up in newer SmartPowers.
 
Also, the smartpowers' fans spin only when the psu senses they are needed. I guess that's where the "smart" comes in. I have a smartpower and it works fine with my system.
