What is the difference between the viewsonic vp191b and the viewsonic vp930b? They look identical....
 
The differences are:

1) The VP930 has two rear facing support legs in addition to the two at the front.
2) The VP930 uses a different LCD panel (not sure of model AU optronics comes to mind )
3) Higher advertised contrast ratio on the VP930 -> 1000:1
4) Response times are the same. (I think :) )

Which one is supposed to be a better panel? The one in the vp191b or the vp930B?
 
Not sure which is better all reports I've seen indicate that both are comparable. Tom's Hardware has reviews on both should you need further information.

I purchased the VP930 but had to send it back as it had a rather nasty backlight bleeding problem which looked roughly like an "X" shaped area of light when the screen was display a blick screen.There are other accounts of this problem in this forum with pictures as well.

The Guarranty cover that X shape of the backlight?

Im about to buy one of those (actually im using this forum to discover which one) and im worried about that backlight problem, and if it is returnable.
