Difference between these 2 wireless adapters? (which is better/newer)

Hi,

So I got these 2 wireless adapters:

Alfa AWUS036H
Alfa AWUS036NH

I thought NH is supposed to be better newer, so I got that and wanted to return the other one but it seems like H model is better/newer?

CommView for WiFi recognizes the H model but not NH. Also the app that comes with NH seems like an app from 90s with skinned UI under Windows whereas H model has an app that uses regular Windows UI.

Am I missing something?

I might still have to keep NH though as it seems like I have to have 2 adapters for scanning and connecting to the Wifi.
