Anyone know what the difference between the X-Fi XtremeMusic and the X-Fi Platinum?
 
xtreme music is basically jsut the regular card, the platinum comes with a remote and a breakout box
 
X-Fi Platinum does not comes w/ breakout box only internal bay connection, ONLY X-Fi Elite Pro comes w/ breakout box. X-Fi Xtreme and X-Fi Platinum are the same card and X-Fi Fatality and Elite Pro are the same card and differences X-Fi Xtreme/Platinum with X-Fi Fatality/Elite Pro are Fatality/Elite Pro w/ 64MB RAM onboard which offers sound cards to used rather than using your system RAM
