Difference between the 172x and the 710T???

both have 12ms response, almost identicle specs, except for the bezel size also the 710T doesnt have a dual hinge, nor magic tune and is 1.3 pounds heavier. What is the difference that causes the large price difference?

710T has better contrast, colors, brightness, and it DOES have MagicTune as far as I can tell, and is definitely more adjustable then the 172X (i.e. height, portrait mode, etc.). It is 1.3 pounds heavier because the power supply is integrated where on the 172x it is separate. Might want to read this Thread. Also I should be getting a 710T tomorrow or the day after so I will post back with some comments of my own.
 
172x is much hawter... I ordered one recently... i'll let you know how it is.
