Difference between Rocketraid's SGL and non-SGL models?

Does anyone know the difference between these two cards?

From my googling the only thing I've found is "The SGL version doesn't include cables" but I find this wrong since the non SGL, more expensive card, appears to have a DIMM on it or something that the SGL version does not. Is this possibly an un-advertised cache? I wish I could find a comparison of benchmarks between a standard and SGL of the same model to see if its worth the extra cash.

Lol yes, but it also comes with a DIMM in the bottom right part of the card by the SFF connectors. WHAT DOES IT DO!? Why does Highpoint have such crappy product documentation to not address this?

That is not a DIMM on the card, though it does appear to be DRAM. So if all else is the same it appears that the more expensive unit comes with an on-board cache, which the cheaper unit does not appear to have. I would be suspicious of the cheaper unit's claim to support RAID-5 as this usually requires RAM for the embedded controller to be installed on the card (which i do not see).

I think I found what it is. The SGL version does not support RAID 6 judging from comments, although it claims it does. Horrid documentation it is...

You need a crystal ball to figure out which product is which. I was looking in to highpoints to play around with, and gave up when cause I couldn't figure out what was what.
