Difference between Radeons and FireGLs?

I saw that link up on the front page to the Radeon-fireGL mod at Rojack Pot. But from looking at the table there, clocks and stuff are all the same, and it's the same GPU... What are the differences (Besides lack of dual DVI on the Radeons)? From reading at ATI's site it sounds like it's just got optimized drivers for CAD and rendering, but otherwise it looks the same. Has anyone tried this and seen any change in gaming/benchmarks? I would try it out myself, but my main computer is in pieces right now, I made the mistake of starting to put my WCing system together with the gpu block still in the mail.

The fire GL cards are mean for CAD drawings, creating games, textures, stuff like that for workstations. The Radeon series are specially designed for games.

The FireGL line of cards is ATi's roster of workstation cards. They're meant more for office applications and design, similarly to NVIDIA's Quadro line of cards. They usually stink for gaming because they don't have the same core design as the gaming cards.
