Difference between 4GB and 6GB RAM?

Hey guys,

I have the ability to purchase an additional 2x1GB sticks of RAM for $19.99. I already have 2x2GB sticks for a total of 4GB of RAM. Is it worth it to spend $20 to go up to 6GB? I do a lot of gaming and graphics work with photoshop,illustrator, flash, etc.

Think it's worth it?

You can use 4 GB of ram on a 32-bit OS, but in order to use 6 GB ram you'd need to be running a 64-bit OS. If you already plan on using 64-bit OS then its probably worth it because a lot of things will be using double the memory, so 6 GB might be closer to 3 GB in actuality. I doubt that any games you play would benefit from the additional RAM. The only things I can think of that might really benefit are 3d modeling programs like zbrush or extremely heavy scenes in 3ds max / maya.
