I'm selling some of the parts listed in my sig to a friend of mine, allowing me to upgrade my system some. I'm looking at getting a 3700+ mainly for the 1mb cache. I've been out of the loop for a good year and a half though, so I've got a few questions.
What's the difference between the A64-3700CF and the AG4-3700BN? It's a 2 dollar difference on ewiz but like 12 dollar difference on newegg.
Is the jump from a 512k cache to 1mb THAT noticeable in things like gaming?
Finally, I know it's offtopic but, I'm considering getting the asus a8n-sli prem. mobo, but my ram isn't listed in the compatible ram section of the manual (I have mushkin), should I still consider getting that mobo or just look elsewhere (I'm looking at a EPoX EP-9NPA+ SLi)?
