I cant find anything comparing them. I can buy a MACH II tonight for $685 (2 mo old) I have no idea if it is worth it.

do that deal RIGHT THE HELL now, that is an amazing price. Cheapest Ive seen one is 800 used.

Well I want to, but I dont know the diff between the ST and this one. I heard it is only the LCD.

the ST comes without LCD but also without the possability of controlling the fans in windows. Basically it just cools without any fancy features

buy the mach II (if you haven't already)

then take it to an AC shop and get it refilled with a better refrigerant. it'll work great:D i forget what coolants are better, but i believe you want r404 or r507 (look on overclockers.com, they have some articles on phase change)

of course i need a vmod before i could possibly utilize a machII, but you should still get one, if only for the coolness factor. heheh i kill me...

good luck.

i think the machII starts with a better compressor/evaporator head, and is more refined overall, so it cools better with the same coolant. (as compared to machI)
either one would be fine, but i'd get the machII if i had the choice.

Ok, I got the II. It is being deliverd tomorrow. wOOt!
I purchased an ice kit to go along with it.

dude, the Mach II already comes with r404a, and r507 charge wouldn't justify the price. charging to another gas + labor is around 150-200 bucks..

I dont like them. I hate being able to see the wires and shit. Iam going to mod the top with window and fans for rad (still have to h2o chill the 9800XT and NB) and window the side panel. :D
