Sorry if this isn't the right section..........
Ok, if anyone can help me with this problem it would be greatly appreciated!! MSN Messenger automatically signs me in no matter what. When it comes up in the icon tray i exit before it logs itself in. The problem is that I apparently have an older version of MSN messenger already installed on my computer and starts up with me not being able to do anything....so basically when i shut down MSN 7.5 on boot another older version of MSN messenger has already sign me in??
WTF?????? Now don't get me wrong i don't want to completely remove MSN messenger from my computer (because i constantly use it) but i hate the fact it signs me in no matter what i do. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

Browse to \program files\messenger and execute msmsgs.exe, once loaded select tooles / options and preferences tab, there uncheck the first 2 options, load with windows and run messenger on background, that should fix your problem :D

Thats Windows Messenger thats annoying you.
just open it and turn off the automatic start up in the pref's

you could also edit the sysoc.inf and delete the word 'HIDE' at the end of the line containing msmgs....only the word hide and nothing else
then if you go into add/remove, windows messenger will show as an option for removal
