Did You Find AoC Today?

For solo play, I would go to a PvE server. It helps to have a lot of friends on a PvP server, so you don't get ganked every time you try to quest. Leveling speed is fairly fast, but level cap is 80. Devs have estimated 250 hours to get to 80. The world is huge, and very well done, lots of stuff to explore.

I would still suggest a guild in any MMO, especially this one. One of the main points of this game is the GvG siege and building up a guild city.
