actually...I don't have a window and it's under the desk...so there's little point. I just tuck them out of the main airflow paths.

Judging by the shape of the HDD rack, the cowling attached to the 5" front bays, the segmented molding around that cowling, design of the thumbscrews on the PCI covers, etc. I'd bet real money it's a Lian-Li, I'll say a Lian-Li PC-65.

These Lian Li's are VERY easy to hide the majority of wires coming from the PSU. All you have to do is cut a hole next to the PSU so that the wires lead back, behind the mobo tray.

That one hole should tidy the case up.

EDIT: This may be a stupid question, but how come your ram sticks are in slots 1 and 3? Everyone seems to say that slots 2 and 4 give you better performance...

EDIT 2: If you would like, I could post a picture to show you where I cut the hole in my Lian Li.

Depends on the MoBo manufacturer... I've used Gigabyte for my last couple boards and Dual channel only works well in 1 and 3 unless you've got a bunch of single-sided RAM.

Can't make out the type of board in the pics but if it's the same way and if it's double-sided RAM he's got is set up correctly.

Sorry I shoulda been more specific...yah, different mobos/manufacturers configure they're dimm slots differently but he has a DFI Lanparty SLI-D/DR and I know for certain that the manual and boot screen says that dimm slots 2 and 4 give you better performance than slots 1 and 3.

Welcome to the "reverse mounted harddrives in a LL club."

Here are some pics of my case if you want to see how I hid my cables a little bit better by Dremeling a hole. These are 6 months old and I have since added 2 SATA drives (installled normal way but in the upper exposed bay) and cleaned up the cables more.
You may want to consider doing this. It makes it a lot easier to route the cables straight from your PSU to the backside of your mobo tray. I used that plastic flex guard stuff that comes on the case to smooth out the hole and protect my cables from getting scratched. These are from my project log but all the pics in my log have been dumped so they will not show up now.

Thanks for the compliment but it is actually gold spraypaint (multiple coats with clearcoat also). It took about a month to prime, paint, sand, and clearcoat cause I would let the paint dry anywhere from 1-3 days between coats.

I'll be getting back to work on my mod as soon as I move into my house this weekend and have a chance to start back up on it. I'll reupload all the pics as soon as I can.

that;s a good start. I would definantly say you should spread the black on top out a little bit just so it doesn't look to crowded. This should still keep the open feel of the case. Very nice work
