So I have been overclocking my AMD 940 for close to two months. In December I started to noticed some BSOD issues. After some testing it turned out I had a bad stick of RAM so I tossed it out of my machine. I'm curious if this was related to my OC or just bad luck. I use a Gigagyte board GA-MA790x-UD4P. I took my 940 to 3.4GHz at 1.4v and left it at that, it was the only way to keep it stable since prime95 would blue screen at the default 1.35v. I left everything else at default BIOS settings just upped my CPU voltage and multiplier to achieve the overclock I was looking for. I want to go back to 3.4GHz but don't want to until I know if I am even overclocking the machine properly.
