Did i get a bad batch?

i am hoping that i recieved a bad batch of WD Raptors and that they dont really suck this bad. within the last 3 months i have ordered around 15 raptors for various computers and at lest 6 have crapped out on me. i am using xfx raid cards on all of them. most of the drives went into a raid 0 with 2 in each raid. and it wasnt only the drives that died but the raid cards were shot to... and even 1 or 2 of the non raid drives died. any ideas?

Are these computers all on the same site? It sounds power related(spikes, lack f it, etc.). The cards would be suspect before the drives since they are going out as well. It usually isn't the drive's fault as the drive is the end of the chain so to speak. And RAID shouldn't have any affect, except the fact there would be more power draw with 2 drives than with one on the same card.

they are all in the same building, but they all have battery back ups with surge protection to... so... i really dont know whats going on. the weird part is that only one drive failed in the raids. anyways... im done with the raptors and moved on to seagate. so far no problems for 3 weeks. thanks for the reply.
