Hey,

I just installed XP and all my drivers/updates onto my new Seagate Barracuda, I was just wondering if I did it right.

I see people who say they have to press F6 for third party installation using WIndows, but my drive just shows up as an IDE drive, even though it's plugged into SATA?

Is this correct?
