I recently recieved a power supply back that i sent in to get repaired by Maxpoint(enermax's RMA handler), i sent my dead power supply in and 3 weeks later i got this power supply. the power supply i recieved uses the same housing as the old one, but the circuit board is different. I first noticed that the metal mesh that went around the ATX connector is replaced with a plastic mesh and that the metal mesh that went around the 4 pin P4 connector is gone. I looked on the internet and saw that the EG365AX-VE has the exact same kind of wiring mesh. The one i had before i sent it in was the EG 465AX-VE, do you think enermax screwed me and gave me a different model? is there anyway to tell if i got a different model by looking on the circuit board?
 
Is there a label on the casing? That's pretty messed up. Good luck dude! :eek:
 
Yeh I would Ring them and Ask if they have put in a diffrent board if so then get on the blower (phone) to enermax HQ and ship them in..........
 
there's a label on the casing, but they used the old casing that i sent them, they took the circuit board out of the old casing and put a new one in. So the casing is the one i had orginally with a different circuit board.
