Diamond 3870x2 in CrossfireX error

Hey Guys,

In another thread I was having an issue with what I believe to be a motherboard problem. However I would like to ask:

When the system was stable for enough to get into Windows, and I had both bridged with the connector (I have tried both ways) I always got the error message "Bridge connector not properly connected" Im wondering if this may be related to my Motherboard issue or if its the cards.

But cards work solid when only 1 is plugged in, however when both are plugged in the computer will randomly reset/blank screen after about 60-120 seconds.

could still be a problem with one of your cards, specifically the cf connectors or perhaps the compiler chip.

Had the same problem here, its the motherboard, both X2 where RMAed and swaping the Mobo ended up fixing it.

Hey Guys,

Was the Gigabyte MoBO. I swapped the Gigabyte with the a new one, same thing. Went back got the INtel DX48BT2 MoBo and happy sailing. Well almost. I cannot use all 4x1Gb sticks of 1333Mhz ram...only 2
