Diagnostic software for 9800gt

I'm having computer problems and I'm having trouble pinpointing the culprit. I suspect either 1) Windows issues 2) faulty HD 3) faulty memory (tested that once) 4) faulty vid card.

I recently installed a 3rd party cooler on my eVGA 9800gt and I want to make sure I didn't fry it.

Is there some decent software out there for diagnosing VGA issues?

Can you share what problems you are having.
Its hard to know what you want to test for.

Edit:
Forgot to ask the idle and load temps you are getting on the GPU.
Also can you check behind each memory chip to see if one is getting excessively hot (use a finger tip).
