Diagnosing video card problem?

I've been having strange problems with my computer for the past few months, and I've tracked it down to the video card.

What happens is when I play a game that requirs a CD in the drive, the computer reboots just after the game starts and the CD is spun up. At first I thought it was my DVD drive, so I tried a different drive. Then it started happening in games and demos that don't require a CD in the drive. I've tested the memory, removed my sound card and swaped CD drives. Basically I've tested everything except the MB and the video card.

I got a friend with the same video card (ATI 9700 Pro) to bring his over today. First I tried running a game with my card and it rebooted like it has been doing. We put his video card in and it ran every game I have just fine.

He let me keep his video card, and took mine home to see if he could duplicate my problem. He is not having problems playing any games with my video card though. The video cards are identical, except mine may be a newer revision since I bought mine a few months after he got his. Our systems are almost identical too.

Is there a program that will test the video card?
