Diagnosing driver errors that cause reboots

I have a fairly fresh install of Windows XP SP2 (barely a week old), and even within the first 48 hours I got reboots due to some sort of driver error. The problem is that I have no clue which driver it might be, and even if I knew, as far as I can tell all of my drivers are up to date.

How would I go about diagnosing the problem? Is there some sort of "log file" that might give me some clues?

I know I have some heat-related problems (I'm running at 48-50C at idle) but I think some driver weirdness is to blame as well.

Anyone?
