It's strange, I've played D2 to death, but I've never touched the online part.
(Lots of two-player LANs, though. It's just the best way to play the campaign.)

You must be a sadist of the highest calibre. I couldn't begin to imagine soloing or douing through hell mode in that game, especially to power level from 85-99. I guess if you never did that I can understand, but once I played through Acts 1-5, Normal-Hell 20 or so times, the only thing I cared about was getting to 99 and getting good items. Granted the closest I came was 96 and never really got any godly items even with battle.net play...
