I'm frustrated with my ISP, intermittently I am disconnected for a split second (Not annoying when browsing, but when gaming or streaming it can be) and I get a DHCP-Client error.

I've called them several times. Here's what we have done so far.

-Reset the modem
-Replaced the modem
-Replaced the cable lines going into my apartment.

I don't know if there's anything else I can do at this point, or anything I am not seeing. It's not at a specific time, or anything it just happens. Sometimes hours apart, sometimes days, sometimes minutes.

Is there anything I am not doing, or should be doing, or is it really all on my ISP's shoulders?

Where do you get a dhcp-client error? On your PC or modem logs?

Is it DSL or Cable?

Poor IP address allocation if on dynamic from there side. Poor IP address reservation if on static on there side. Have you tried any other systems to see the fault is not with your current OS/PC? Could also be IP lease time expiring too soon from the DHCP IP pool. Hard to say as this seems like a possible ISP side issue if you've tried other systems in the house and getting the error still.

I don't have another device to try it with since I am the only resident, and I only have one PC. It's a Cable provider, all my other devices are signed in wireless, and literally it's only a SECOND of disconnection due to the error. So it's difficult on a wireless device to tell if it happens at all. Is there anything I can change on my end?

Try a new OS, ipconfig release and renew commands could help troubleshoot if you're ISP dynamically allocates IP's to your end. You should call your ISP whenever you get disconnected for that split second with the error, this way tech support can verify with error logs on there side to identify what is wrong.
