Hello Everyone
Ok I have a Dlink 4300 and a wireless 3420 adpapter to connect to my PS2, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do it. Tried everything in the manuals and on the Dlink help site but it is mostly for Xbox Live.
I tried giving my PC a static address as recommend on the Dlink site for an Xbox but still nothing.
Anyone with this setup, help will be appreciated.
Thanks:D

You need to configure the DLG-4300's wireless -- (a) setting up the wireless mode (802.11g/optional turbo), SSID and WPA/WPA2 encryption, and then (b) setting up the 3420 as a client. You might have already done (a) for other wireless clients then you can go straight to (b).

For (a) be sure to pick a long randomized WPA key, and save that to a file somewhere.

For (b), I'd suggest using the computer to set up the 3420 first. Disconnect the computer from the router, set its IP manually to be compatible with the 3420, and then connect to the 3420 and configure it so that it's compatible with the DGL-4300's settings. Set the WPA key as saved in the file. Confirm then that you can connect the computer to the DGL-4300 and internet, going through the 3420 -- set the IP to automatic, and confirm that you can connect to the DGL-4300 and browse the internet / etc.

Then, (c) revert the computer back to standard connectivity -- attach the cable directly to the router, and finally (d) connect the console to the 3420 and confirm that it auto-connects through it to the DLG-4300. Follow any ethernet connectivity steps required for your console.
