dfi ut 250gb temp problem

Just built a new computer with a Athlon 64 3000+ and a Zalman 7000alcu. I used artic silver 3. I'm getting idle temps of 50-60C and load temps of 60-65C. Is it possible that the motherboard is reporting the temp wrong by this much? I touched the heatsink and it didn't feel that warm.

Any suggestions?
