Just wondering if anyone can give me some help here. I bought a DFI SLI-DR, a 3200+, and a 6800GT the other day, and it hangs when ever i try to install windows. The first few times it would go past all the first windows stuff, had a raid array set-up on the nvidia raid, but when it rebooted to install windows it would crash giving me an error with nvraid.sys. So i changed over to the silicon image sata ports and redid my raid array, and now no matter what ports i put sata cables into it freezes at the "Setup is inspecting your computer's hardware configeration..." Even if i unplug them and only have my cdrom plugged in, it will stay here. Anyone have any ideas?

This thread may not pertain to your problem....but questions about DFI mobos will be quickly answered there. You should try a beta bios first.....that would be the first thing DFI Street usually recommends.

After being 4$$-r4p3d by DFI for the last hour... I finally got my SLI board to boot and load Win XP.

Flashing the BIOS is not an easy task when YOU DON'T HAVE ANY FLOPPY DRIVES HANDY!!! AARGH!!! /rant ;)
