I got my board from monarch yesterday and got everything installed and running great. I've had both a 4400+ and an FX-57 in there and no problems with either. If you read the thread posted where OPB fried his cpu's it was on a sample board straight from Oskar at DFI, not a retail board from Monarch. His retail board has given him no problems.
The options on this board kick the SLI-DR's ass. The vdimm can be set very precisely (2.66, 2.68, 2.71...etc) and is very accurate as to what the actual vdimm is. If I set it to 2.66, the actual vdimm my mem gets is 2.66. On my SLI-DR it was always about .06v higher than what I set it (i.e. - 2.7 setting would give 2.76 actual).
Also, the vcore is much more stable and doesn't undervolt as horribly as the SLI-DR (setting it to 1.55 used to give me about 1.51).
The spacing between video cards is wonderful, especially with the quadro coolers on the 512mb gtx's. On my SLI-DR my 256 cards ran at ~54 idle. On my Asus Premium they ran ~45. The 512mb, which are supposed to run a little warmer than the 256, run at ~42 idle on the Expert. The memory is more easily accessible and placement of everything works out so much nicer than the SLI-DR.
Overall this board combines the great layout and stability of the Asus A8N-SLI Premium with the overclockability of the SLI-DR. Couldn't ask for more (except maybe 2x16 PCIE lanes, but that's not really necessary atm),
