Guys,

Wow, it's been a while....

Ok. I currently have the following;-

DFI lan Party NF2 ultra (Latest Bios)
xp2500 @2240
Maxtor 6y160yo 160 gig sata
512 dual channel samsung pc 2700
Radeon 9800 pro
Etc...

Oh and I am running the Infernal XP.

I seem to be getting a lot af caching problems. The maxtor hard drive is suppose to be a quick drive, but it just seems to sit there for ages, thrashing it's guts out. The drive works better if running through a SATA pci card that through the MB's own controller which leads me to belive thats where the problem is.

Anyone had any similar problems or know of anything that can help me?

Could it just be a lack of Ram?
