DFI boards and 4870x2

There is a lot of buzz on other forums regarding running a 4870x2 on a DFI board. The board isn't able to detect the 4870x2 at all from what I've read.

I have a DFI LP LT X48-T2R as my mainboard with a 4870x2 on order to arrive in roughly a week.

Is there anyone else here who has ordered a 4870x2 and is currently running on a DFI board? Do you have any concerns whether or not it will work?

There are some people who are saying that the bios fix doesn't do anything for them.

there was problems running 3870x2's on DFI's aswell.... that sucks if its true.

This sucks, I have a DFI X38 and a 4780x2 coming
