Have you ever wondered what its like from a game developer's perspective to run an MMO?

What goes into the design process?

What is it like to handle player concerns?

How do you handle game balance, nerfs, buffs, etc?

How do you keep things fun, exciting, and entertaining for the players?

You'll never hear from Pardo or most of the big wigs at the huge companies. If you are curious about something like this, you need to look to an independent developer.

Follow the Threshold RPG twitter for that kind of insight:

I've always wanted to know specifics about the hardware, network topologies and infrastructure required to run big MMO's like WoW and Everquest before it. I understand why they would never release this info though, it would be an interesting read for me though.

Maybe it would be interesting if the twitter page actually had the information you put in the original post. Funny how the time you posted matches right up with the twitter saying
Get the word out. We need more followers. 100 by tomorrow, and 1000 by the end of July!

The page held no insights or anything similar. Just a couple player updates and pleas to get views and followers.

Will I be following: No.
For those interested in the OP's statements: Look elsewhere. Has nothing to do with what was mentioned.
