I'm looking into building a computer, nothing crazy, but the only piece I am missing is a PSU. I basically am looking to figure out how to determine what size PSU I am going to need for this build.

The build will consist of these main components:

it will also have 2 optical drives, and I'm thinking 2 HDDs.

I am mainly looking into how you guys determine what size of a PSU to get when building a rig.

It's not for any type of gaming so no need for graphics card, onboard graphics should be able to handle bill paying/web surfing just fine.

How did you come to the 350W figure?
 
actually you won't even need 350w
even quad system without dedicated video card wouldn't use more than 250 or so on load i believe
 
Well, there are very few (if any) quality power supplies in the 250 watt range. Most are in the 350-400 watt or higher range.
